so USA is too racist to be on the same council as China and Russia for instance. I have to say, those are very high standards to live up to. even Cote D'Ivoire is there, and they have a very recent history of issues in this area.

The UN is like the WHO. a bunch of bureaucrats that give speeches, throw lavish parties and buy expensive properties in Paris they cannot afford with their official salaries. The UN appointed Saudi Arabia on the council for women's rights. If that doesn't tell you all you need to know.. the sooner they get rid of all these, the better. they do absolutely nothing, except debate for weeks on a strongly worded 1 page letter they send to some government who kills millions of people, suggesting an immediate stop. that's as far as it goes.

2/3 (14) of the founding fathers owned slaves.
Surely all were champions of equality. That's why they abolished slavery in the constitution. Oh wait, they didn't.
