Your best/ worst ever car mod thread

Removing the bumper to change an air filter ?

Germain engineering at its finest.

Actually,

Removing the taillights, the wing, the bumper, all kinds of piping and then changing the filter.

Wonder why regular maintenance is so expensive? That's one of the reasons.

Wonder why they make such a stupid design? Because you buy the stupid car anyways.

Everything is easy to access on a Yaris.

Worst - dropping my car 1.5 inches with on my 1994 Honda Accord coupe with regular tires/rims, it just looks so stupid as if the car sunk because I had too much weight in the car
Best - the $2k+ sound system (2x12inch subs, ampli, head unit) I enjoyed the hell out of it back in the day

It's there because Porsche moved the engine forward and wanted tighter packaging. 991s are difficult to work on. Even 997 with 9A1 are a bit of a pain but still more room than 991. Alot of what manufactures do is to avoid owners working on their cars.

On 991 they should have made a top access panel from inside the car like Boxster/ Caymans have. At least you would be able to gain access to most of the upper engine to replace those stupid solenoids that always fail.

Coolant flush on 991 or 718 is beyond a terrible job.

*banghead*

Worst: tow hook for my Honda accord because racekor

Best: tune, muffler delete and bilstein b6 on oem springs for the ST
