You can replace your plate if it is defective with the same plate?

On the Saaq website there is a section to do it. They ask you to return the old plate but I was still doubtful they would so tried it.

Had the plate for 15 years and the last two I have been waiting to get stopped for it.

They had a bad batch with defective paint. It would peel off after a year, leaving you with the bare metal. I drove like that for two years without ever getting stopped.

They've had a few, this plate is about 15 years old. Started pealing about 5 years ago. Thought it was cool to be able to keep it. It might not be a vanity plate but it me forever to get a 514 plate. I figured they would just send a new plate not reproduce my plate.

I'm going to the Saaq on Monday, I'll ask them about it. Mine has been peeling for a long time and I hate the new numbers.
