3000 BMW neuve on été abandonné à Adesa Vancouver en 2014, à cause d'une possible exposition à de l'eau salée.
Des m3 m4 et même des Alpina sont abandonné la bas. Incroyable quand même et quel gaspillage. Surtout que certaine voiture avais quand même été vendu et livré au client et fonctionnais bien
BMW Canada paye 10 000$ par jour de location de terrain car ils sont entrain de poursuivre la compagnie de shipping et ne veulent pas perdre les preuves.
Transport Canada ont effectué un recall qui a obligé BMW Canada à reprendre les autos qui avais déjà été vendu aux clients et de ne pas vendre ceux qui étaient touché par le rappel.
The cars have been sitting at ADESA Vancouver, a salvage auction yard, ever since. According to the official recall, the Mini models were determined to be at increased risk of crash due to “corrosion at the starter motor power supply cable connectors, which could lead to the inability to restart the engine following an engine shutdown by the start-stop (MSA) system.”
The same recall determined the BMW models were at increased risk of crash because “lubrication of some internal components within the steering rack may have been exposed to excessive water or salt which could result in higher than normal steering effort or steering binding.”
