So a friend of mine just leased a Q5. He's paying over 700$ a month for the lease. Thats what he was paying for an RX350. What many of you don't realize is that the Germans are ecstatic with the chip shortage. They are making record profits. They dont want to go back to pre-covid markets. Production is lower, demand is higher, prices are up. Both BMW and Merc have said that they want to prioritize higher end cars and they want to continue production cuts all the while making more money. In the long run they are actually making it easier for people to switch to Tesla and other EV's since cost wise for the client it makes sense. The market is really fucked up right nowadays. Keep your current cars guys, these new cars will be way overpriced and most companies are spending their money on EV r&d. The cars you see now are whatever is left. They're going to push the higher end cars and entry, mid range will not see much of anything new in the next few years.
Effectivement c'est le constat que j'ai en ce moment avec les allemandes. C'est insultant pareil de se rendre compte que j'ai un 2018, je regarde pour le même modèle 2022, plateforme inchangée, me rend compte que le towing package est rendu une boule rétractable sous le chassis alors que j'avais un vrais towing package avec les plugs/hitch/camera de boule dans le bumper, il offre même plus les bancs en cuir de série c'est rendu de la cuirette trouée, j'avais des roues de 21'' d'origine là c'est du 20'', le chargeur de téléphone est une option à part des packages, je dois prendre un package à 8K$ pour avoir les head up display.
Ensuite le marché du use augmente mais le vendeur t'annonce que les valeurs résiduelles sur les locations sont 2-3K$ plus basse qu'en 2018, WTF vous êtes sur qu'elle planète!!
Ensuite t'arrive avec un taux de 4.9-5,9%.
