Pour l'émission de MC Mario et l'émission de Vito V sur Virgin ou le Beat 92.5

On June 28, 2021, Martz announced that it is selling WYUL and co-owned WVNV to the*Educational Media Foundation*(EMF), which runs two national*Christian radio*music services,*K-Love*and*Air1. This would give EMF its first entry into the Montreal radio market albeit on an American radio signal.

September 30, 2021 was WYUL's final broadcast day before shutting down. The last song played was "In The End" by Linkin Park.

Je me dis la même chose pour la région de Montréal...mais who knows maybe a Cornwall sinon au sud de la frontière a massena, malone, chateaugay etc...

C'est quand même de la musique normale en général. Un Franco qui comprend rien des paroles n'y verra que du feu

Bcp de folk et country mais avec des paroles de God is great pis Jésus pis faith aux 5 secondes.
 
It was good back in the day, they used to play some gangsta rap too iirc. It went to shit and sounded like virgin radio lately.

À Boucherville je le pogne à moitié... same shit a Montréal dans l'est.

Pis juste pour dire que je pogne chom virgin et ckoi jusqu'à St-Faustin dans le nord alors leur range était pas super donc je ne l'écoutait pas vraiment

That's because WYUL transmitter is 120-130km away outside Malone, NY and has 10-12000 watts of power Martz owns or owned these smaller market stations which some are completely automated with corporate content. For example Hits 94.7 morning show was actually a morning show from a sister station somewhere in Minnesota. Hits 94.7 whats known as a "border blaster" station. There are a bunch... But they somewhat had a presence in the area.

So it works by line of sight which is why the signal in Valleyfield and West Island is decent, there also isn't a competing station on the same frequency or near frequency in that area. However when atmospheric conditions are poor such as today with rain the broadcast power fades. Then as you get closer to Montreal you have stronger signals, more clutter around the 92-98fm frequencies, Tall buildings and the mountain. CHOM for example is around 45000 watts of power and their transmitter is on top of Mont Royal. So you get great line of sight, a very powerful signal and a huge broadcast area with excellent quality. CKOI is 150000 watts and at one point was way way more.

Oddly enough there is still a bunch of people who listen to radio. A friend of mine advertises his business on CJAD and picks up a bunch of clients from those adds. Even 92.5 has a loyal following. As crazy as it sounds radio isn't dead
 
Ca fait 9 fois que Sirius XM m'appel pour me dire qu'on a pas essayé le trial qui venait avec le char et qu'il va se terminer, là il est expiré et ca fait 3 fois qu'ils m'appelent pour me demander si je veux payer pour lol

Quelqu'un écoute ca la radio satellite?

Même quand c'est gratuit dans les chars de location j'arrive pas a écouter plus qu'une heure.

C'est TOUJOURS les mêmes tounes en boucle.
