Ya pas d'info officiels mais les rumeurs persistantes disent fin 2022 comme modèle 2023, donc environ 1an?

En tout cas moi j'ai bien hâte et je suis pas mal excité. Reste à voir le prix...

With Subaru North America sales in decline consecutively YoY, and Toyota moving into Subaru territory with the model offering overlap, its only a matter of time before Subaru disappears here and Toyota absorbs those sales and customers. I wouldn't at all be surprised to see Toyota increase their ownership stake in Subaru and morph them into a full Gazoo Racing fab.

Toyota owns 20% of Subaru. Subaru as a brand is dying in North America. Symmetrical AWD is robust but inefficient. Why buy a Legacy when you can buy an AWD Camry? And the sales trends show this change in consumer behavior. With more marketing in the automobile sphere behind fuel economy and EVs, Subaru is way at the back of the industry in that regard. What I meant with my comment was, Toyota should increase their ownership stake in Subaru to a controlling level, and turn Subaru proper into Gazoo Racing/TRD/etc and let them act autonomously to be better positioned to take on the N models, Type Rs, etc.

Want an Impreza or Legacy? Buy this Corolla or Camry with AWD. Want a WRX or STI? Buy this GR Corolla or GR xxXXxx.

I think their long term prospects are poor but they've done exceedingly well in the North American market in the past decade. They're now a US-centric japanese brand. Having a bad year or two when the supply chain is upside down doesn't change the fact that consumers can't get enough of their crossovers. They could kill off the impreza and legacy tomorrow and no one would notice / care, that's for sure.

Some of their SUVs are sold with outrageous mark ups in the state and dealers are offering higher than MSRP prices for used models. (Carvana paying 30k+ for used crosstreks is preposterous)

It's sort of ironic that they built a lifestyle brand on the premises of being eco-friendly with vehicles that have fuel economy that lags the market leaders in most segments they're in. Perception vs reality. But I don't think it's sustainable once EVs take hold.

C’est drôle même à 45-50k moi je croit sa va faire fureur même a ce prix, production limited ou pas , c’est quoi qui vend pas chez Toyota? rien , en plus awd, manuel et fun à part affreuse wrx-sti il a quoi ? succès garantie anyway avec le marché dans le used toute est overprice, j’aimerais bien me prendre un summer si trouve rien je pourrais être tenté pour cette corolla, c’est fini pour moi Subaru

Golf R c'est le benchmark dans le segment et adversaire naturel d'une corolla GR, reste à voir le prix, c'est sur que ça va être 50k d'après moi.

Je dit pas que ce n'est pas intéressant mais si c'est 50k la R va rester le benchmark.

La yaris est un body de rally. La corolla sa reste une corolla. Ça n'aura pas le même hotness que la yaris rally.

Super char malgré tout. Reste à voir les test. Je pense qui va manqué quelque HP.

A 50k je passe mon tour c’est sur sa commence à faire beaucoup argent pour ce que c’est je suis d’accord mais il vont en vendre quand même

Oui ils vont en vendre mais vraiment pas beaucoup,
tout comme la Focus RS était un char calissement intéressant mais avec le prix de malade y s'en est pas vendu beaucoup.
 
Si elle est autour de 270hp, elle va devoir être moins de 40K et se battre plus avec les GTI/WRX que les Golf R/STI.

J’en doute pour moins de 40k au départ je pensait ça mais était dans champ regarde juste le prix du Toyota gr 86 pas celui de base on n’est presque a 40k lol
 
Même à 270hp je paierais 45k, mais 50k ça commence à être difficile à avaler un peu. We'll see!

Le memo de Toyota posté il y a quelque semaines disait 300hp, donc je pense encore que c'est encore la source la plus fiable pour le moment.
