Échappement sur mesure près du centre-ville?

Ma voiture de course sur glace homologuée pour la route ('00 Beetle) a perdu son flexible d'échappement de 3" lors de la course du week-end dernier à New York. J'ai besoin d'un travail sur mesure pour la course de ce week-end. Quelqu'un connaît-il un bon magasin à Montréal, de préférence près du centre-ville ?

Custom exhaust near centre-ville?

My street-legal ice race car ('00 Beetle) lost its 3" exhuast downpipe flex at last weekend's race in NY. I need some custom work for this weekend's race. Does anyone know a good shop in Montreal, preferably near centre-ville?

Merci beaucoup! Aucun de ceux-ci n'a pu le faire à temps, mais le Monsieur Muffler sur l'avenue de l'Église à Verdun l'a fait le jour même et un excellent travail! We won our race that weekend!

chanceux, pcq la pluspart des MR Muffler sont des installateurs d'exhaust OEM-like sur des chars pas rouillées.

au final ce sont des franchisés, donc ca dépend de la compétance du gars qui a la soudeuse dans la main.

We ran the silver VW Beetle in AMEC's (www.icerace.com) Street Legal 2wd unstudded class, and won some races but got T-boned and DNFed in a key race, then spent the next in a snowbank after trying to catch up from next to last in a 30+ car field. We ended up finishing 2nd for the season.

The Beetle had to get us to the races 100's of km away, survive a full day's or weekend's racing, and get us home again, which it did without fail every time (even post-T-bone thanks to the energy absorbing plastic RR bubble fender)! Thanks also to Pit Stop Garage on Peel for helping us keep it together!

For this coming season, we picked up an Audi TT 4wd from another province, but having issues with SAAQ Mech Insp. Is balky power steering really a "major" defect? I was actually about to bypass it for better feel on ice, but now they want it "fixed".

More importantly, the TT's gearbox (02M-4wd 6-speed) started binding (feels like two gears at once) moments after we left the inspection station. Haven't found a good used one (closest was an 02Q-2wd, which we grabbed just in case). Can anyone recommend any experienced VW/Audi gearbox rebuilders in/near Montreal?
