I’d like one more ICE car but yea so far two weeks having an EV and I don’t see the point of having an ICE daily in the future. The EV does everything so much better

Well if it can help you or anybody else:

EVs means Electrics Vehicles (the present topic). Sometime you might see BEV, for Battery EV.
ICE means Internal Combustion Engine (that runs on gas or diesel)
MG is a car brand (now Chinese?)
GM is a car company (still American)
MSRP is Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price
AC usually mean air conditioning (ou air climatisé) or Alternative Current
DC is Direct Current
PHEV : Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (which has an ICE and a battery that can be recharged)
GVWR : Gross Vehicle Weight Rating

And there’s nothing wrong using ”AC”. As long as they are the common ones or can be defined within the topic’s context.

Je suis vraiment satisfait de l'autonomie mais vu que je l'ai eu fin octobre sur un set de pneus d'hiver je ne peu comparer à cet été pour voir l'écart. L'autonomie est quand même très fiable par rapport au compteur et je suis difficile à diagnostiquer car je fait beaucoup de ville et beaucoup d'autoroute, le compteur estimatif est très précis je trouve. C'est un super bon véhicule, je n'ai eu aucun problème initial, je compte le garder 10 ans même si la technologie va évoluer certainement. C'est aussi une véritable fusée, ça décolle lol ça roule infiniment mieux que mon X3 m40i mais mon X3 a seulement 50 000 km alors on le garde dans la famille le temps que le I4 mange quelques stone chip ensuite je vais essayer de trouver un remplaçant au X3 en version EV, dans 3-4 ans disons je ne suis pas pressé. Le X3 est plus spacieux pour charger de gros item et j'ai le towing package, c'est complémentaire car le I4 ne peut pas rivaliser à ce niveau.

Côte traction control, est-ce que tu peux le désactiver complètement et faire des dérapages l’hiver counter steer sans que la voiture essaie de conduire pour toi?

Je me demande la même chose avec les Ionic5 et la version Kia. Quand même RWD de base...

Ioniq 5 tu peux enlever le traction control mais j'ai pas jouer avec assez pour savoir si il va le remettre automatique.

J'ai juste pris un virage assez sec sous la pluie et sa swing.

Garantie que y'a toujours un 'safety control' qui reste actif. Ça existe pu un char quinte laisse aller full sideways dans le cutoff.

Oui ma vieille brette GT de 265whp 305wtq lol , quand j'me claque les back road du nord , entre autre Chemin Chertsey , j'me fais souvent des petites frousse en gazzant trop fort et trop vite en sortie de courbe. Le cul tasse juste assé pour te donner un p'tit feeling !

Rien de mieux que de conduire vite un vieux char pas de power et sans assistance électronique.

Enel X Juicebox 48 (hardwire outside). I bought it during the pandemic and it was 800$. Now its around 950$. A friend of mine just go an ID.4 and after all the reviews Id either stick with the juicebox or get a grizzle smart (i like the fact i can monitor the consumption and if need be lock the charger). Even though some manufacturers provide a 240v charge, like Ford, most are not really meant for everyday use.

I’m using the BMW charger that came with the Mini but will prob order a Grizzl E in the next month or so. I went the Nema 14-50R outlet route but went robust with a Hubbell outlet and 6/3 wire, 50amp GFCi breaker somewhat “future proof” for the most part. I backed off charging to 16A in the car.

I’ll hardwire a charger outside when the time comes. The wire is already run from the panel and breaker is sitting there.

Because i went with a 48amp its already a 6/3. I doubt we'll ever need more, i mean i do get 10%/hour roughly. My one gripe with the juickebox is in winter the wire is stiff hence why i suggest the Grizzle.

Honnêtement, pour un daily pour quelqu'un comme moi qui est dans la voiture autant que dans ma maison; cest pratiquement mon deuxième bureau, le feeling du moteur tu t'ennuies pas. Un moment donné être toujours crinquer c'est fatigant aussi. Quand t'est sur la 40 à 16h30 jammer au boutte, la paix est agréable et bienvenue. La fds c'est une autre histoire. J'ai mon SpecV pour ça

My local Metro has level 2 chargers outside and the cables when frozen are useless. This seems to be a problem with many chargers. My neighbour has a Flo and it’s fine in the cold. I want Flo but they’re forever backorder

Je pense que la plupart des véhicules du line up de BMW même en 2023 te laisse mettre le DSC à off.
