Your car/truck as it sits now thread.

I installed the new Enkei Raijin wheels on the STI today. The 370z came out of storage yesterday so I'm airing out the mothball smell. The 2 fiero's in the garage are stuck in there until I get my ass into gear and finish my bathroom renovations. I've used the Fiero coupe a few times this year so far. Missing from picture are the G8 and 300zx which are still in storage off site and my beater matrix.//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190505/4230d70c4a9be008bb2ea656fb40af18.jpg

No disrespect, but if it's not a 5.0 they should never be bought.

Thats the boomer mentality, the base ecoboost is a pretty nice car for the price.
A good looking rwd turbo 300hp coupe for under 30k, if it was japanese people here would be circlejerking each other about the car.
Its not like the older models with the v6 that were super slow back in the day.

A mid 90s Mustang Cobra had 305hp. Now people are thumbing their noses at the base model 300hp models. Interesting times.

The new GTs are simply too powerful for DD / street use IMO. 0-100 in 3.9 seconds, 12 flat on the 1/4 mile. It's sort of ridiculous in a world where the speed limits are going the wrong way and automated speed enforcement is so prevalent.

I get that the sound is the main appeal, but what's the point when you can only enjoy it 4-5 seconds at a time?

Drove a turbo camaro for 1000 miles and the fun just wasnt there! Plus it felt pretty weak, 300hp is limit for the weight to have some fun and the torque feels non-present at all!

Disappointed

Yes I have to agree.

300hp and gobs of torque.. not to mention a pretty decent chassis with optional handling package available.... better yet the same after market availability of go fast bits.

I'm almost certain it will be a bit more fun to drive without all that wieght on the front end as well. No displacement tax either for plates

Damn good package if you ask me

You need the thump-thump-thumpity-thump-thump

How many of those boomers are actually hammering on those cars? Almost None. They poodle around going 90kph or driving to the next Autosport Laval meet and drown in a sea of poorly fitted chrome with tales of yesteryear... "Ma Camaro 69 monte a rouler 150mph sur la 15 pis 12 flat a Napi en 71" right... My personal favorite are their that still believe those 60s 1/4 mile times

Vrai,
asteur pour etre ''in'' ça prend un pick up V8 ou un char sport de minimum 450hp comme DD .....

Mais comme on dit:
autre temps autre moeurs.

Pi dans le fond : to each their own !

300hp and gobs of torque.

Surtout a Québec. J'aimais mieux mon C63 pour ça.

Cleaned up some wiring, swapped the grill, goddamn this thing is obnoxious, shopping for tail pipes time!
