Yes. And i'm on Twitter. 90% of the people wants a reset but when we lose they get mad.
If we are really doing a reset sometimes in the future, i'll bet my salary that fans will demand some wins ASAP.
A reset takes time, hard work and patience. Fans....none of the above.
What do you mean if we are really doing a reset sometime in the future?
2015-2016 - No playoffs
2016-2017 - First round exit
2017-2018 - No playoffs ---> According to MB himself the reset started following the 2017-2018 season.
2018-2019 - No playoffs
2019-2020 - No playoffs
A rebuild/reset/whatever you want to call it means you are stocking the cupboards with picks and prospects, and are going to help them develop. So we've had MB for 7.5 years, do you giving him a passing grade on stocking the cupboards with prospects and developing your young talent?
So the Canadiens will not have made the playoffs for 4 years in the last 5 AND we have sweet fuck all for young talent. Suzuki who is the lone bright spot was neither drafted nor developed by the Canadiens. I assure you the fan base understands that we can't build a young team from prospects and make the playoffs.... BUT CAN WE DO ONE OF THOSE THINGS? I assure you the fan base would be more than happy to watch the young talent on the team improve and develop even if it means mistakes and loses, BUT CAN WE NOT TRADE FOR OR SIGN VETERAN PLAYERS THAT ARE GOING TO STEAL ICE TIME FROM THE YOUNG KIDS AND STILL LOSE 3 TIMES TO A TEAM WITH A -72 GOAL DIFFERENTIAL IN 44 GAMES?
And the holes that the team identified and needed to fill with a trade or a signing were never addressed. We still don't have a #1 center and we still don't have a puck moving defense partner for Weber.
I actually challenge you to point out what this organization is doing well right now, because I couldn't tell you a single one.
