The first Cars and Coffee Montreal meet was held last Saturday, June 7 in Ville St-Laurent. Turnout suffered because of the Grand Prix festivities and only about 70 vehicles showed up. We had expected perhaps around 200 for the first event.
Nevertheless, there were some very nice cars and the ambiance was exactly what we were aiming for. People conducted themselves in a responsible fashion and even the public security agents who passed by to check out the event were impressed with our demeanor.
This event is something we hope to continue to build in conjunction with our sponsors. The time will likely be changed from 10am-2pm to 10am-noon so people make an effort to come earlier.
