It looks like BMW is finally going to start offering the M5 with xDrive if these spy shots are anything to go by. Reported by Autoguide.com, we can see a drive shaft at the front wheels.
I guess BMW got tired of hearing questions about why many other high performance sedans come with all-wheel drive but the M5 is only available in rear-wheel drive. Discussion threads from upset M5 owners like this one probably didn’t’ help either.
The next generation M5 is due out in 2017.
