Jeep has unveiled some interesting new concepts, each of which are fully functional vehicles.
Jeep Chief
This retro-style look was inspired by the 1970s Cherokee. It sports the famous razor grille from the original Wagoneer, halogen headlights, removable doors, chrome bumpers and 17-inch slotted wheels. They’ve also chopped the roof by about two inches.
Under the hood lies a 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 with a six-speed manual transmission. The interior looks like something out of the late 60s with flowered seats and white upholstery.
Jeep Staff Car
This Wrangler-based concept is great for military buffs with its army-style steel wheels, sand-colored paint, canvas roof, rear-mounted spare & gas can, painted steel floor, lack of b-pillars and bench seats.
It’s powered by the same Pentastar V6 and the previous concept.
Jeep Wrangler Africa
You’re ready for an African safari with this Lang Rov..eh..Jeep with it’s high-clearance bumpers, two-inch lift, Fox shocks, Dana 44 axles, fender-mounted gas cans and 35-inch BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires.
Jeep Grand Cherokee Overlander
For the outdoor enthusiast, this Jeep Grand Cherokee is fitted with a two person hard shell tent on the roof. The look is customized with flared fenders, SRT taillights & hood, rock rails, skid plates and a special front fascia.
Jeep Renegade Desert Hawk
Jeep spices up its entry level model with rock rails, a skid plate, a hood sticker, roof rack and is painted in Desert Tan.
Jeep Cherokee Canyon Trail
This is basically your standard Cherokee but also painted in Desert Tan and fitted with numerous skid plates.
Jeep Wrangler Rock Responder
This heavy-duty offroader can respond to an emergency and packs a four-inch lift, Fox shocks, Dana 60 axles front and rear, a cold-air intake, off-road rock rails and a Warn winch.
It’s got cargo boxes which contain a hi-lift jack, road side accessory kit, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, air compressor and other tools.
