Saleen has unveiled what they are calling one of their finest Mustangs ever: the 2015 302 Black Label.
A twin-screw supercharger attached to the 5.0-litre Coyote engine will power the beast which is the most powerful production mustang ever made. It’ll make 730 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque – more than the Dodge Charger and Challenger Hellcats.
Unlike Mustangs of prior years, the 302 Black Label will also feature and independent suspension to give it more agility on the track. Saleen provides 20-inch wheels, wrapped in 275/35R20 tires for the front and 275/40R20 tires in the rear. Large 15-inch rotors with multi-piston brakes will provide stopping power.
Saleen has modified the exterior by lengthening the front by 1.5 inches and the rear by two inches for greater downforce. A front air splitter and rear wing complete the exterior in true Saleen fashion.
The interior features leather and suede treatment all around for a nice luxurious finish. Steve Saleen will hand sign each dashboard as well.
The 2015 302 Black Label starts at $73,214 USD and can be ordered at select Ford dealers only. Saleen will provide only a 3-year 36,000-mile warranty, however.
