Justin Trudeau and his Mercedes 300SL

Inherited from his father, Trudeau possesses one of the most iconic cars of all time (more so if it had gull wing doors, but still amazing nonetheless). These photos are from a National Post story a few years back.

Introduced in 1954 as a two-seat coupé with distinctive gull-wing doors, it was later offered as an open roadster from 1957-1963 which is what you see here in the photos. At the time, it was the fastest production car in the world.

Last year, a similar model sold for $1,842,000 at the Amelia Island Concours d’Élégence.

Do we have the coolest leader in the world or what?
