The Speedster Mechanic s Creeper for general public and professionals, is now available on Kickstarter
Creepex, a Canadian company has literally re-invented the creeper. The Speedster, will take any mechanics, Professional or Enthusiasts “where no one has gone before” …Over floor grates, air hoses, and even unpaved driveways!
But more importantly, It provides the mechanics total displacement control for an ideal working position without having to pull himself by grabbing the vehicle.
The secret? Two 7″ wheels in a “positive camber” configuration provides the capability to spin on a dime. By repositioning those wheels at “waist level”, the Speedster controls like no other creeper.
Additionally, the wheels have a dual tread profile for both, smooth surfaces (glides effortlessly like rollerblades) or rugged surfaces (rolls outdoor on gravel or grass)
The Speedster has a two position ground clearance, another first in the industry. Thanks to the extremely low center of gravity, the probability of a rollover is physically impossible
The soft comfortable ergonomic Polyurethane reinforced Uni-body shell has side-by-side convenient tool trays and is easy to clean.
Mechanics wont be left in the dark with a pair of detachable L-E-D work lights, magnetized to stick anywhere, as long as its metal. “Hasta la vista” extension cord!
While the Speedster’s design seem Higher than a regular creeper, the backrest portion is as low as any other type of creeper.
