Auto Hebdo Is Hiring So I Went To Go Check Them Out

Everyone knows what Auto Hebdo is. At some point or another, you’ve had to sell a vehicle and Hebdo is likely the website you used to get it done.

Back in the day, the company used to have all their vehicles in a print form which you could pick up for a few dollars at any newsstand. As the internet become more and more popular for selling cars, the magazine had to be cancelled and all the companies operations switched to digital. It’s a testament to good management that they stayed ahead of the curve and didn’t allow a fancy startup to snatch their business out from under them. This all happened over a decade ago and Hebdo remains one of the best tools available to individuals and dealers to sell vehicles.

When I heard they were hiring, I thought the community could benefit from a little more information than a simple job listing so I went to their office see what it’s like.

The office is located on Rene-Levesque corner Guy street in downtown Montreal. Inside you’ll find a modern-looking office with all the amenities you’d expect to find working at a high-end tech company. You have your standard cubicles and office space and the break room is spectacular including a fooseball table, comfy couches, full kitchen, gaming area and an awesome view.

So what kind of positions is Hebdo looking to fill? I spoke with Geneviève Laurendeau who is a human resources advisor.  The most frequent jobs available are as follows:

Sales Department: Internal sales director, external sales director, acquisition specialist.

Excellent Center: Client services specialist, tech support specialist, and administrative support specialist.

You can browse the official job listings at their career website: https://tradercareersfr.silkroad.com/

Geneviève also tells me that there are numerous social benefits including:

– Flexible collective insurance plans
– Retirement plans
– Developing competencies through their internal training program
– 3 weeks vacation as of your second year
– Free downtown parking
– Very competitive salaries
Hopefully this is if some interest to some of you. Hebdo loves to hire people who are passionate about cars so don’t hesitate to inquire and mention that you come from MontrealRacing!
