Video Shows Man In Back Seat of Tesla On Autopilot
Filed under the category of what the heck was he thinking, a video has been posted on YouTube showing a Dutchman filming from the back seat of a Tesla Model S while the vehicle was cruising along a freeway on autopilot.
The car can be seen going about 50mph and thankfully it appears the person didn’t attempt this for very long but it these type of antics have caught the attention of Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
Responding to other videos Musk said “There’s been some fairly crazy videos on YouTube. This is not good. We will be putting some additional constraints on when Autopilot can be activated to minimize the possibility of people doing crazy things with it.”
The autopilot feature is still being developed and can relinquish control of the vehicle under many conditions.
