[:fr]Pour l’édition 2017, Chevrolet présente une Corvette édition Grand Sport qui est, en gros, une Z06 sans le moteur de la Z06. En d’autres mots, la Grand Sport est plus large, a des jantes d’un diamètre supérieur et une suspension retravaillée pour offrir aux amateurs de Corvette une voiture prête pour la piste, sans l’étiquette de prix de la Z06.
Sous le capot se trouve le bon vieux moteur V8 LT1 de 6,2 L de la Stingray, muni de l’échappement à deux modes. La puissance est de 460 ch et la motorisation est couplée à une boîte automatique à 8 rapports.
Le prix n’a pas encore été annoncé, mais on s’attend à ce qu’elle coûte quelques milliers de dollars de plus que la Stingray.
[:en]For 2017, Chevrolet is releasing a Corvette Grand Sport model which is essentially a Z06 without the Z06 motor. In other words, the Grand Sport is wider, has bigger wheels and a retuned suspension to offer enthusiasts amazing track capability without having to dish out a full Z06’s MSRP.
Under the hood we find the usual LT1 6.2-litre V8 from the Stingray but with the dual-mode exhaust standard. Output is 460 horsepower mated to a seven-speed manual or eight-speed auto transmission.
Pricing has yet to be announced but likely it’ll cost only a few thousand dollars more than the stingray.[:]
