The Drifting Series Formula Drift Canada will cease operations of its Pro Drift Series effective immediately. The organization made the announcement in a post on their Facebook page yesterday citing too much competition in the market to continue holding drifting events. FD Canada says they still intend to hold a demo during the Grand Prix de Trois Rivières next August.
Since 2015 the series has held over twenty drift events and was even responsible for bringing the American Formula Drift Series to Canada for the first time.
