damn, Its fast but still does not give me a boner like the M5. With the money you save though you can buy all the Viagra you will ever need.

Don't think it will be king for long as rumor is the 2010 M5 will have the same V10 but twin turbo charged to take on both the RS6 and CTS-V. But the Cadillac still remains 30K less.

Damn.

My dad has a 3.6 direct injection CTS (fully loaded with AWD and sport package) and a car like his goes for like 57770$ here... (But he bought it in the US).

Now 60 000$ gets you a CTS-V in the US ??? OMG. :yikes:

That's one hell of a machine.

Yeah.. Throw as little as 10g on the caddy's engine and it will eat even the new M5 alive.

BMW is cutting back on all engines. Next gen M3 will end up with a TT I6 and the M5 a TT V8

2009 Cadillac CTS-V: Designed – and Priced – to Blow the Competition Away

Oshawa, Ontario (October 20, 2008) – Available this fall at Cadillac dealerships across Canada, the 2009 CTS-V combines the serious performance of an elite sports car with the poise and comfort of a luxury sedan. Following on its blistering track record at the famed Nurburgring the CTS-V is priced to race off the lots, with a starting MSRP of just $68,500.

“The 2009 CTS-V is Cadillac’s ultimate expression of performance and luxury,” said Marc Comeau, vice president of sales, service and marketing for GM of Canada. “While its track numbers speak volumes, we think that the comfortable transition from sport supercar to touring luxury sedan is what really sets the CTS-V apart.”

The CTS-V includes a suite of advanced performance technologies, including a new version of Cadillac's acclaimed Magnetic Ride Control suspension and a LSA 6.2-liter Supercharged V8 engine which propels the CTS-V from 0-100 km in less than 4 seconds – making it one of the world's highest-performing sedans.

The car retains the inherent characteristics of the acclaimed CTS itself, including a comprehensive array of safety features, well-tuned quietness and excellent road manners. The CTS is assembled at the quality award-winning GM Lansing Grand River Assembly Centre and is backed by a fully transferable, no deductible, 5-year/160,000-km powertrain limited warranty with courtesy transportation and roadside assistance on top of Cadillac’s 4-year/80,000-km bumper- to-bumper limited warranty.

General Motors of Canada (GMCL) is engineering and manufacturing advanced environmental technologies ranging from Active Fuel Management (cylinder deactivation) and hybrid systems to E85 biofuel and fuel cell vehicles – more than any other auto company right here in Canada. Headquartered in Oshawa Ontario, GMCL employs more than 15,000 people nationwide. GM of Canada manufactures vehicles, vehicle powertrains, and markets the full range of General Motors vehicles and related services through 732 dealerships and retailers across Canada. Vehicles sold through this network include Chevrolet, Buick, Pontiac, GMC, Saturn, Hummer, Saab and Cadillac.
