:dunno:

Roll bar = arceau/demi-cage

I vouch for VAG, you can bring your parts as well and they have curtosie cars if needed, you can do a little bit of research to see if a clutch job on those is ~7h, if it takes them less they'll charge you on the time they spend on the car. Been there quite a few times with my car lol, they do the job once and do it well, never had to go back for anything they done on the car.

Yeah, I usually go there as well, reasonable prices and job well done. But last time I went there was another story, the mechanic took about 1.2 hours to diagnostic a vibration on the clutch pedal and said it was a driveshaft bearing. The other tech went with him for a 15 (!!!) mins test drive and came back saying it was the flywheel which makes sense. When they were back, one of them had a rectangular greenish paper, a bit like a police fine (statement of offense), so not sure where they went and what they did with my car. Also they said I had oil in my coolant and coolant in my oil and not to use the car anymore until it's fixed. Oil in coolant is a common oil filter housing and cooler gaskets failure on 335s. but coolant in oil could indicate a BIG problem like head gaskets or cracked engine block, which is very rare on ths 335s, the engine was never overheated also. So when I had it changed, the oil wasnt sludgy nor milky, not sure how this was diagnosticed. Bit of oil was definitely in coolant though. Anyway I had it fixed by someone else, not too happy with VAG.

Drive shaft bearing or driveshaft issue you would feel in the bottom of the seat or middle of the car. Not on the clutch pedal. Dual Mass flywheels suck! They don't last, they are expensive to replace and can't be resurfaced.. If the drive shaft is off the car I always suggest replace while "you are there"

I removed the dual mass on my e46 325, put all oem LUK from an e36. But for what it's worth I had no problems before I removed it but it is a wear item ...

I did the oil filter housing gasket on my 2007 335.. it was time, my coolant was brown !!

shitty job, I can't believe you have to remove the intake manifold to get to this bolt.. there is probably a way, but job done...
