Agreed. It's an epidemic in the states. Heck my GF parents went to a hockey tournament in NY state and somebody hit them so hard their bumper was in the back seat, thank god her brother was with a team mate in another car.
Also that said the biker is kinda dumb as he parked in the dead center and showed no signs of checking behind him.
When coming to any stop (with traffic infront of me) I always position myself like so or even more onto the line.
Wasn't his time.
