Guy Wants To Fill AT&T Stadium To Watch Furious 8

The owner of an online community called Ricekiller.com is attempting to organize what would be one of the biggest car meets in history at AT&T Stadium in Texas to watch the eight installment of the Fast & Furious franchise in 2017. On the webpage for the event he offers some explanation:

I want to be clear about my ultimate goal here. I would like to team up with Chaz Hawkins to do a RKC/TiT collaboration for FF8, with the venue being AT&T Stadium in Arlington. For the first time in history, a stadium full of people will watch a movie from 4 angles! This would require support from Jerry Jones as well as special permission from Universal Studios Entertainment. The film being shown inside the stadium would be the ending to what would have been the worlds largest ever car meet, taking place within multiple parking lots at AT&T stadium.

If such an event becomes a reality, you can expect corporate support at the national level from huge sponsors like Monster Energy, Traxxas, Nitto and many others. This would be a once in a lifetime event that would set many records.

To pull it off, I have to get a ton of support… literally thousands… to prove that such an endeavor has demand. Depending on how things go… we many need to pool our resources to put in a deposit… (which would be refundable if things didnt work out) but thats thinking ahead.

Point is… I am thinking well beyond a simple movie theater meet… I am thinking about an event that allows fans of this franchise from around the nation to come together as one, massive family, which is what the heart of this series is all about.

Some might say I am crazy… and I am… but I have always believed that anything is possible for those who try. And I will try… with your support.

2017.
