Question dimensions des roues

Voici ma question:

Je me demande depuis quelque temps quelle combinaison de pneus et roues prendre pour le lapping, 14 pouces ou 15 pouces.

La voiture en question est une civic 91 avec certains go fasts. Côté traction vs poids, quelle combinaison serait la meilleure?

Les 14 pouces sont en général plus légers, mais demandent un pneu avec un flanc plus large. Les 15 pouces sont plus lourds, mais ont un sidewall plus petit, donc ils y a moins de perte d'adhérence relié à rouler sur les flancs.

Maintenant, il est possible de jouer avec le camber et la pression des pneus pour réduire l'effet des flancs, mais la solutions miracle ne m'est pas évidente...

15" would be the way to go because the wheels and tires are more available.
The 14" wheels are usually limited to 6" wide and are hard to find in lighweight models. You are limited to 1 size too....205/55/14.

With 15" , you can chose 6.5" or 7" and between 205 or 225

If you have the motor, the 15" are the way to go.
They are more stable too!

BTW, if you chose your tire and mag combo right, it will be lighter than most 14" set-ups.

I'm looking at the Z211 and Konig helium combo. I have my everyday tires on a set of helium and would be looking at another set for track tires.

I agree with BBQMAN
