bpt swap pour 323 1994

j aimerais savoir toute le necessaire pour swaper un bpt dans une 323 1994 à
quel tranny ??
ecu wirring???

You can use your stock tranny, you'll need the BPT ecu(BP-26) and at least a Protege GT wiring harness, if you can't find the Gt-x harness. :) Good Luck!

Stock tranny yes, but don't abuse it too much :).. If you want to go nutso like me get an MX-3 or protog/escort GT tranny and beat it to death :). Note swapping a FWD G type tranny is alot of $$ for converting from cable to shift rods, and new axles. :bigup:

I don't abuse mine..just take it easy and USE THE CLUTCH!!!...lol :p
I've been using my stock tranny/clutch set-up going on 3 years now without any trouble. :bigup: But yes, a GT tranny is recommended.....for some ;)

Yes for maniacs like me.. I need an MX-3 Tranny, has beefier internals, much beefier axles and yes.. a 4.36:1 final drive :), with a bPT I'll have a massive top speed of 121MPH with stock sized tires but I'll get there really fast. and the BPT bolts right in. just needs new engine mounts :cry: . and go from cables to rods.. wee better shift feel. and most importantly. Mazdaspeed LSD for next year :) :bigup:

I'm doing this in a BF so it's a gonna be a bigass headache

I swaped my trany for a G series and it's rods all around.
It's just the trany support you need.

as for the convertion of wires, it's realy easy as i can see from the shop.
The bp and the b6 wires are exactly the same except one wire for the distributor and one wire for the secondaries.
a couple more wires for the turbo stuff and knock sensor and your off!

the only problem is getting all the right parts togeter..
once you have all you need, then it's realy easy.

i can convert the wires for you for about 150$
 
Prends pas la tranny stock ca vaut pas le cul, si moindrement tu veux que ton char marche un peu pis que tu monte le boost c sur ca chie. Prends absolument une de protege ou escort GT. Ce sont les plus fortes et les mieux gearer.

The car I have uses cables for the tranny. Also I'm a 12v techie so wiring is a non issue :). just need the diagrams and wee..
 
Ta tranny stock, tu l'as tu garder? Si automatique, je serais interessé a l'acheter!!

Ca fit tu sur une 323 91??
 
comme zekx disait.... garde pas ta tranny de sohc... sa vaut la peine d,investir pour une dohc la sohc dure vraiment pas....

tu a deux choix.... soit tu roule avec un bp stock aik l'ecu de bp pis tu greffe un kit turbo du bp-t ou meme custom.......pis tu grossi tes injecteur pour pas manqué de gaz.......

ou tu roule aik le bp-t avec l'ecu de bp-t... mais l'ecu du bp-t est toff a trouver......

c sur c pas detailler... mais c un debut ;) ...

mais tu a une couple de chose a changer pour sa roule bien ...

si de decide daller avec une tranny d'escort gt vas avec un G5M (91-92) pas un G25M (93-96). les gears son mieux dans la gm5 pour un turbo.

after 1990, only 4wd 323/Protege had cable actuation. So his Protege don't need a rod/cable swap.

non il on pas les meme ration et une est plus solide que lautre. la G5M est a un meilleur ratio pour le bpt mais elle est un peut moin solide.

je sais pas de où tu pognes ton information, mais à ce que je sache la seule diférence entre les deux est le bellhousing.
