Daylight Running Lights on a 80's car?

I'm about to finish work on the 944 and I have to get it inspected. Its a car bought from the states. Its a 1987 and it doesn't come with daylight running lights. Do I need them to pass inspection? The lights are flip up so I dunno how daylights would work on this car. *tu* What needs to be done?

DRL came into effect like mid 88.

If the car needs DRLs, which I don't think it does, they will be either the turn signals or fog lights.

DRL was forced from 1990, so youre alright

my 95 civic didnt have drl's, but no you dont need them

If if didnt come DRL stock, you will pass inspection anyways because ITS STOCK

not true,

any car that was made build after 1990 need DRL to pass Qc inspection. It doesn't matter if the car came with or without it Stock.
