hey ok i just bought a pair of infinity refrence 1260w 12 inch subs
300rms each i need to find an amp for them i am currently looking
at a 800watt rockford fosgate will this work for me? anymore info needed just ask

thanks i have another question when i pluged my sub just once into my brothers 600watt amp it kept putting the amp into protector mode why was it doing that
 
Make sure the impedance of your subs match the load where the amplifier puts out it's maximum power.

Your sub are probably both 4ohms SVC... meaning wired together you'll have a 2ohm load.
Meaning when you look at an amplifier make sure it's highest output is measured with a 2ohm load.
