Event Coverage: Some pics from Crescent last night #manifencours

I went down to Crescent to check out the show and also the protests. The highlight was when a bunch of bikes started doing burnouts next to a group of riot police trying to break up a demonstration on de Maisoneuve and Crescent. I left before the tear gas and SQ riot squad were called in though.

My god...

Ca n'a pas de bon sens, j'ai tellement honte d'etre Montrealais en ce moment.
 
I told a reporter from LCN that the students were a bunch of bums that should stop complaining and go back to class. He wasn't impressed

let's sum up the student achievements so far..
less income because they have to stay in school longer.
paying for tickets received while demonstrating.
some end up on court and will be charged.
bunch getting a criminal record.
fucking businesses up in down town.
make the city mostly undesirable for tourists.
smashing random cars because they feel like it.
robbing tourists.
getting hated by the majority of people in town.
getting laughed by the world.
turned the protest into anti everything.
still getting tuition raised.

this has to be the most unsuccessful protest in history so far, the protesting students have losses and gained nothing. meanwhile people graduating from McGill this week are going to apply for jobs with less competition around. well played red squares

i got there as the riot police showed up and damn do they look bad ass. just they're presence makes u kinda scared lol

some guy shot a beer bottle at one and ran into a restaurant. 2 riot cops went it, dragged him out to an alley and beat him
