it was about 3:30am, so i decided to go out for some pics. snowploys went through already except for some of the back streets. it was still coming down quite a bit, but the car made it around just fine in the pirelli 240 snowsport winter tires...in fact it was great. plowed right through some 1-1.5ft "drifts". the night was so peaceful, and the lights were interesting.

yeah, pics turned out great. depends on camera settings and flash. i have a sony pro flash with wide angle diffuser for my sony dsc-f717 digi camera. actually i took over 100 pics within about 1/2hr or so...trying different bounce angles of the flash. some of the pics were taken without flash and no tripod but i had to rest the camera on the door with window down or somewhere steady and used longer exposures.

here are some test shots of different bounce angles inside the garage where the lighting is mixed with industrial incandescent and flourescent bulbs from the ceiling. it's very hard lighting to work with normally but with different flash bounce angles i got excellent results.

these are in order of flash angles...0, 45, 60, 75, and 90 degs. you can tell that 45 and 60 degs tend to be the best angles in general if you're bouncing the flash off close by ceiling. those 2 angles seemed to give the best spread of lighting.

here are more test shots of nsx in storage. again as you can see, 45 and 60 degs are best flash bounce angles.
