Guys i have a 98 GC impreza L with a 2.2L.
i know that in order to swap for a turbo engine ill need to rewire the harness!
But if i get a 98 2.5L RS engine,
Would i need to change or modify the wiring??

yeah there are some changes between the two, I was looking at doing this with my old RS engine for a winter car. The harnesses actually have quite a few similarities. Ill see if I can dig up the diagrams. shoot me a pm with your email and ill send them to you if i find them
 
yeah but you can get rs engines for 400$ and wrx's are still 3-4 times that price... really sean he just get an sti engine ;) hehe
 
ya im trying to make this affordable and faster to change.
for the wrx engine its too much work and expensive.
