Im looking for new tires and i was looking for some yoko neova..

What happens is that i think it might be a bit expensive for a first set of lapping tires....so i was wondering what tires would have a good price/quality rating.

Not too expensive but not Wanli either

Thanks

I never used the Neova but basicly a tire that has a 200 tread-wear rating can be considered as a good lapping tire. Its usualy sticky, it can survive usually many heat cycles. Basically if you plan on running less then 2 sessions a month and do a lot of road, then consider more a daily tire then something in the 200 threarwear range.

Get the Kumho XS or Dunlop Direzza Star Spec. They are much cheaper and perform as well if not better.

Dunlop Direzza Star spec ... not only it is a "unexpensive tire" but the quality is outstanding. It beats the most expensive tires.

I started to look for my self (toyota mr2) in the 200 thread wear range, there is not a single model with my size (215 or 225/45/16 front, 235 or 245/45/16 rear) :dunno:. Any idea? Toyo have them but nothing between the casual t1r and the 100TW ra1 and r888.

As tu regardé les kumho XS ?
