Beaucoups ferment a 8pm.

Winter beater 2005 Saab 92x Aero manual - 1000$ - 156.000 miles, US car but been in Canada for a decade.

Has a few goodies:

-H4 2.0l turbo same as WRX
-3" catless downpipe
-full STI exhaust
-stage 2 tune from XT performance
-KYB GR2 shocks
-Epic Racing springs
-20mm rear sway bar from WRX
-Polyurethane bushing on rear suspension and sway bar

Has a few problems:

-Quite a bit of rust from sitting, barely moved the last 2 years usual Subaru rust spots on the body, rear quarter panels, doors under the mirrors but the shock mounts are clean
-Vibration when driving at speed could be rotors as they are just basically a piece of rust could be flatspotted tyres, I'll start by replacing the brakes and see if the vibration improves before getting tyres
-Previous owner said it has a mild brake fluid leak, I haven't seen it but I put a drip cardboard under the car to see if it leaks and from where
-Previous owner said it has an exhaust leak at downpipe, I haven't noticed on the short drive home yesterday afternoon, it'll need to start from cold and I'll see where white smoke comes out
-Trunk doesn't always unlock properly, I took it apart last night and lubed it good with silicone spray and now it works better but I dunno how long it'll last, before the cold weather comes I'll grease it but for now I have to lock/unlock from the drivers' door a few times to eventually hear the solid unlocked clunking sound it's supposed to make

So now I can say I have a Saabaru and a Fiata.

Inside is clean for its age. Floor is good. Everything works except AC because there's no strap on the pulley, I don't expect to need AC until at least April though. We'll see then.

Congrats, should be a fun winter car. A customer had one of these and it caused him nothing but grief, but he still loved it.

What kind of grief?

If I'm honest the mods make me nervous, I'd honestly prefer if it were bone stock. The seller said it has 30HP more because of the mods, I'm not sure it's worth from 230 to 260HP but I'll let you guys know as soon as I get to friggin drive the car. First I have to sort out the brakes, safety first.

I'll have to ask him next time I see him. Always had mechanical/engine problems from what I recall and he seemed to have trouble sourcing parts which is strange since it pretty much has WRX mechanicals. I seem to remember it spending a lot of time parked while waiting for parts from Maine or something.
