JV recently said...

"I would never have made that corner without his push" Jacques Villeneuve opens up about the infamous incident at the Dry Sack turn at Jerez in 1997.

I've seen this incident many times but never bothered to analyze it. If you look at JV's line he may not have made the corner...

 
Any one that really took time to analyze knew about that.. If im not mistaken, villeneuve was 0.8 ~ seconds behind schumi during acceleration from the previous curve. .. Sure schumis move was "reckless", but that way or the other, he wouldve been in the sand traps.. Some even said that he should have tried to get out in the grass, get back on track and then maybe have time to repass him (2-3 laps left i think).. Anyways, in racing, even the best of the best act recklessly.. (talk about, senna, prost, mansell...etc)..
