Ouragan Sandy, un "frankenstorm"

Now looking at the aftermath it isn't too bad at all.

New Orleans is below sea level whereas NYC is only 7 feet above don't forget. So relative to one and other, NYC didn't get too much flooding.

However aside from the sheer size Sandy was the largest hurricane to land on the north eastern Atlantic coastline.

It did produce much more precipitation due to the time of year which resulted in snowfall I believe.

Death tolls are pretty low which is nice to hear also (not that I want people dead, it's just lower numbers are good)

However it did do a lot of damage for a few reasons: hurricane spec infrastructure and flooding systems are at a low because typically hurricanes don't generally land in that region.

I think you misread my point. I'm talking about Montreal specifically...fuck the rest of the world. lol. In Montreal, Sandy was less devastating than Katrina. I don't live anywhere else, so I don't care to gossip about it. :p
