I am pretty sure it was a mass e-mail and not directed to me haha.

I download from kat.ph/piratebay and use Ares for music. How much more basic can it get...

it not about learning where to download but "how" to download. Encrypt your torrent download program with forced method, and you will be fine.

Videotron back in the days sent me that kind of msg, after encrypting everythings never had email again.

The reason why people should deny all knowledge, refuse further cooperation, and threaten to take it to court is because doing that makes copyright trolls fold like a cheap suit. They absolutely DO NOT want any of these settlement cases to go to trial.

Multiple judges in the US ruled that IP addresses cannot be used to identify people, something that is very likely to happen here as well.

J'ai entendu dire qu'il avait passé une loi concernant le monitoring sur le download de films pour les clients comme quoi cetait tout à fait légal pour le provider de monitoré à l'encontre de la vie privée de ses clients.. est-ce quil y a deja eu des clients amené en cours pour download illegal de trucs sur internet ici au quebec?
 
Depuis quelque temps j'utilise ben gros les débrideurs de torrent et de filehosters. C'est beaucoup plus safe car je passe par un intermédiaire.
 
It only means that IF they can track you from your IP and GRC/CIA/FBI/NSA/KGB/MI6/KKK got something against you, they'll have to provide them your infos. Thats it.

Dont worry OP, you could torrent the entire internet without trouble.
