Anyone to recommend for re doing a kitchen from scratch?
Want modern contemporary style with a quartz counter.
Tried home depot, not impressed plus its gonna cost 18k.
Reno depot dont do custom kitchen.
Gonna check porte et fenetre verdun tomorrow.
Anyone else?

Les deux cuisines que je me suis fait faire avec Ikea ont couté le tier de ce qu'une cuisine aurait couté avec Cuisine Action par exemple.

Tu verrais ma cuisine jamais tu penserais qu'elle m'a couté ce qu'elle m'a couté...

En plus, c'est des cuisines de très belle qualité...par pour rien qu'Ikea en vende comme des petits pains chauds...

En tk sincèrement si j'étais OP je regarderais du côté de Ikéa...sufit de choisir sont modèle, de faire son plan et le tour est joué...en 1 journée ta cuisine est toute faite.
 
Depends what you want in terms of quality. Im on my third kitchen with Ikea, my last one costed 5k instead of 14k quoted from custom guys, bought brand new dirt bike with the cash I saved

For counter tops, check a guy on MR (z-ul8r) for sick prices/quality

My last kitchen $5k, loaded with EVERYTHING, door stoppers, easy sliders, smooth hinge system, hidden dishwasher free from Ikea during a promotion, cabinet organizers, etc




 
Ikea kitchens are really great. Better quality than most MDF / laminate kitchens and the hinges are robust. Way cheaper, too. Go with a quartz / granite specialist if you want a good countertop and make sure you end up buying a better quality faucet than the one they propose ( their cartidges are shit and their sinks are not that good quality ).

Plus, you can install the cabinets yourself. Easy as fu.

What type of material do you want for the cabinets?
18k, it's not that much for a custom kitchen... lol

les cabinets c'est le best. Les pentures sont excellentes et les ralentisseurs sont tres bon.

Ceci dis, c'est pas JUSTE les cabinet qui font la cuisine.

Il y a le plancher, comptoir, lavabo, backsplash et électro. Qui peuvent se trouver ailleur qu'au ikea

Un gros lavabo carré avec un robinet style commercial c'est déja bien partie pour du modern.
Le backsplash en verre.
Pas/peu de cabinet en hauteur
Les cadres de fenêtre 3.5 ou 4.5" carré c'est de la gamme moderne.
PLancher noir/gris
comptoir blanc gris ou noir. (quartz/béton/marbre/granique/céramique)
le SS est moderne.
luminère encastré en ss.
hotte de comptoire
PAS de cuisinière (four et plaque indépendant)

Bref, je viens de refaire ma cuisine FROM scratch, depuis janvier j'en fait peu à peu. j'ai stripper mon rez-de-chaussé et remplis le 2/3 d'un 40 verges.
Je vais probablement poster des photos.
Ma cuisine maura couté environ 10k, évalué par un eg, ca m'aurait couté 35k la faire-faire. J'ai bcq de matériaux recyclé/récupéré et beaucoup de magasinage, 0 main doeuvre.

Gros conseil, met un plancher chauffant, c'est la classe.
Fait tes plans cad avant de débuter. Moi j'ai fait 3 versions cavant de tomber sur de quoi de cool.

va sur http://www.houzz.com/, classe ca en kitchen/modern. Tu vas trouver ce que tu veux.

Sur le bord de la 440 à laval il y a plein de magasins de cuisine.
La tuilerie est la place où j'ai eu les meilleurs prix pour la céramique.
matériaux brut : reno et coupal.
cabinet : ikea
gros lavabo : costco
electro : des electro neuf pratiquement donné que j'ai réparer ou kijiji, tous de luxe en ss.

If you're going to spend that kind of money to fix your kitchen, do it right. Don't fall into the typical "North American pseudo modern construction trigone tendence bro" bullshit

I personally know a family that spent something like 70Gs redoing their entire kitchen and a bit of their living room. And the result looks like some generic cookie-cutter shit you see in low end condo construction. It's functional because it's all custom, but it dire not look like it should for that money.

You want good design, look to Europe. Italian, Danish even Greek French and Spanish design are all cutting edge.

You'll pay a little more but some key pieces imported will make all the difference between a matante ginette-approved design and real sick shit, and even then you can build to a budget.

une chose.. pas de lavabo carré style resto... c'est pas lavable et c'est pas long que ca l'air du cul...

Most ikea stuff are nice but only last 3- 4 years. Is it the same for kitchen?
From you guys opinion their kitchen looks sturdier than their bookcase for example.

Its a small kitchen strip to the floor. Ceramic tile on the floor. 96x140 inch.
Really small but open kitchen
I need someone mainly for cabinets and counter top, design ideas always welcomed.

same here, I did everything myself except ikea installation and was 5k (photos above)


most expensive was sink and faucet (carré, style resto, TRES bon, tres lavable) mais il faux acheter la qualité comme Blanco stainless et pas une replique chez rona a 129$ aussi ca prends ABSOLUMENT un robinet flexible (style resto) sinon cest dur a laver

Sincèrement les cuisines Ikea sont loin d'être cheap au contraire...en terme de rapport qualité prix il n'y a rien qui peut battre Ikea.
Même un ébéniste qui ne fait que des cuisine m'a dit que Ikea était sur la coche...

J'ai commander une cuisine Ikea il y a 3 semaines , 8000$ avec panneau en bois , un lave-vaiss , une hotte en cheminée et un autre electroménager , avec en prime une carte cadeau de 25% de mes achats (vue que c'était la promo des cuisine , ça arrive 3 fois par année) + 450$ livré chez nous (±700km de mtl) .

À date tout ce que je trouvé de négatif , c'Est que vue que c'était la promo , y'avait plusieurs truc de B.O. , dont les caissons de coins lol.

Sinon les panneau sont vraiment top torche.
 
How the hell do you guys build 5k kitchen?
Gotta let me know. Last quote from cuisine verdun is around 18-20k but really really nice. Using miralis products.
