Canadian justice at its best

There is always going to be people that wants to have him freed and that protests for him and love him. People wanted to marry Charles Manson ... Same deal here. Americans should intervene.

Wants to ban guns, supports murderer. That leftist logic.

Guess what, rehabilitation work

go in norway, where they rehabilitate the criminal, it actually work, crime rate is low and recidivist rate is low too (canada have a rate of 50%, US it's 70%, norway is....20%)

I like how people think that Justice is just about revenge for the victim, while it's not.

Yes, but Habibi, this is not Norway... According to your own statistics, Canada has a 50% success rate at rehabilitation. These are not good numbers.

You also seems to be forgetting the fact that he killed someone... The dude deserves the full wrath of the law and should remain in jail...

For what end ?

If we do that, terrorists will just use him as a martyr either way (death or prison)

If we first rehabilitate him, then get him out, it's one less propaganda weapon for them.

If we just punish him, keep him miserable, for doing something on the spur of a moment in a war zone, mark my word, they will use him as a martyr

Not only did he admit his crime, he said he would do it again if freed. Why anyone would want to give him another chance at killing a innocent life is beyond comprehension.
