LOL "No low ballers" This is what happens when people watch too much barrett Jackson.

Meanwhile for not much more you can get a NEW pick up. I priced out a Sierra 1500, 5.3 4x4 extended cab last night for 34k...

Selling for his grandfather. I bet he told him I'll put it on the internet for you. His grandfather probably wants 10k and this guy is trying to pocket the rest.

Some old geezers do believe they have a hidden gem and will ask insane money. Sorry buddy its not an E34 M5, its an early 90s pick up= worth nothing

well it's not completely insane when you look at the trends and notice that one recently sold for $80K USD
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1994-toyota-supra-8/

There is a saying that a car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

There are a few cars going to auction soon that will break all time record high price for cars sold at auction.... once the market bubble breaks- things will come back to normal.

Like on air cooled Porsches. Prices have been falling

Juste LOL

It wouldnt surprise me if those pickups start rising in value like most the other old trucks, they were made for work and abused then dumped when they got too rusty so a really clean collector grade pickup is definitely rare.
Its 6000km and really clean, it would probably get close to 20 in the US to the right buyer... in a few years.

129k for a rhd seems completely insane

It is completely insane. A RHD is worth half a LHD at most. I follow the jap auctions pretty closely and no RHD has broken the ~$60K CAD mark at auction in the past couple years from what I've seen.

But if it was LHD and everything else was the same, it would probably get that much.

Gregster may be right though, the most expensive auction sale that I see in the past couple months is 3,600,000 yen, ~$43k CAD. About $50k landed so I'd say this dealer is trying to make minimum $60k profit on this sale, probably more.

Let's face it, both that CRX and the Supra are at least 2x too expensive... The dealer is crazy.
