The restaurant in Palm Beach is boarded up, my gf and I are at some friends' apartment with metallic shutters. 4 cases of water (maybe as much in wine and scotch lol) and patiently waiting for the power outage and strong winds. We are by the water (canal between Palm Beach and main land) so the show should be quite spectacular! I will post some pictures from my phone later.

My parents were there and they decided to come back to quebec by car 2 days ago.

lol we got a few cans and non perishable foods. Tonight we are making a kick-ass fondue.

There's no evacuation warning for our zone. And if there was one, its almost too late to go anywhere. I've been following the news very closely and I don't feel threatened. I know its terrible to say, there will be considerable damage and people hurt, but I'm kind of excited to experience a tropical storm.
 
There were some elder people evacuating and we were making fun of them for being pussies actually lol
