These are my plans for 2017

Full season with the Track&Time and Miata Cup Challenge. Aiming for the win in both divisions :)

This winter, I'm planning on putting on beefier sway bars to reduce roll i'm getting in tight corners. Hopefully this will stop the car shaving it's own mudgards :p
I'm also adding a catback so I can actually hear my own car on the track. Nothing extreme, just a bit louder than stock.
I will also be upgrading to RS3 as soon as my old Conti DW let go this summer.
Other than that I'm pretty satisfied with how it handle the track abuse.

I will be attending a couple of full day events at Icar and possibly at ASE.

T-k, on verra ben :p

Working on getting a freakin' trailer and a truck at last, so I can travel to wherever I want, whenever I want to track the car before anything else this year!

My goal? Get my mk1 GTI built and on track. Also giving a hand to my co-worker in building his car. Might also convince my friends in NJ/PA to run their Lemons car at a Chumpcar event somewhere on the east coast.

I've been talking with my friend about joining your lapping club this season. I'm a bit hesitant because I need a couple things for my car still, I need to buy new front coilovers, and Im a bit scared about the reliability of my car.

I plan on doing the schools and having Yvette sorted out so it can run after rabbits! Scedule will tell on how much I can be at the track.

Reliability is the most important thing- making is faster or stiffer is not that important.

Once the reliability is set- you are good to go.

Step 1: Fix the broken stuff.
Step 2: Go lapping

I want to try new tracks this year. Got a passenger seat for that reason last year, but the car broke in the middle of the summer, so I had to postpone to 2017.

Getting a new helmet and finally buying a HANS device.

Maybe pop my cherry in Chump car if time and budget allows (and if a team wants me in).

Normal winter maintenance (fluids, plugs, etc.) and maybe a fresh crank harmonic balancer. Then she'll be good to go chase some low 0:58's at ASE, perhaps even tickle the 0:57s, who knows. LCMT for sure, maybe 1 other "big" track over the course of the season.

Might be picking up a '17 Golf R (RIP B7 A4 wagon :(), so I'm curious to see how that fares on track in relatively stock form...

With a hefty dose of understeer, followed by a side of plowing. The Clubsport is miles better on track in that regard.
