Sure, we could just as easily chalk it up to more people living in urban areas owning fewer firearms for recreational purposes, but let's turn this into a race thing instead.
I wasn't making a race point, I was pointing to the facts, minority households proportionately own less (legal) guns which could explain the drop in overall household ownership rates because as a share of the general population they are growing. If you want to infer anything else from that simple point, it's on you. Tell me what racial connotation good or bad I brought up?
And yes urbanization is also probably a contributing factor to the decrease in % of households that own guns.
