If a witness is called who is not a cop does the prosecutor have to inform defendan

Hi , I have a quick question, if the prosecutor calls a witness to testify , who is NOT the police officer(s) , on the scene of accident, does the prosecution, have to inform the defense BEFORE HAND, or can they show up .

    Thanks.
No more flash by 2018 , yeah !

Oui, obligatoire.

    Y'all know what I do.
