Votre opinion? Pour ma part ca fait depuis 1989 que j'écoute le show, desfois des meilleures et de moins bonnes saisons mais Apu faisait parti des "meubles" comme tout les autres personnages.

One of the original writers of The Simpsons has responded to claims that Apu will be written out of the show.

Last week, producer and Youtuber Adi Shankar claimed that The Simpsons plans to "drop the Apu character altogether".

But Al Jean, who is an executive producer, has responded on Twitter saying that Adi Shankar "does not speak for our show".

Apu has become controversial recently, with some people arguing that he is an Indian stereotype.
 
Remove Helen Lovejoy, she represents the typical stuck up Christian woman stereotype.
Remove Homer Simpson, he represents the typical fat lazy American stereotype.
Remove Fat Tony, he represents the typical Italian Mafia stereotype...

I was in Myrtle Beach last August and I went to a Kwik-e-mart at one of the malls over there. It's a Simpsons themed store littered with references and posters of Apu. I doubt very much he's going anywhere...

En fait c'est pire que ca, les minorites font chier la majorite car on leur inpute une importance qu'ils ne devraient pas avoir.

Une belle grosse WW3 solide remetterait tout ca en perspective. Les gens recommenceraient a appeler un fucking chat, un chat. Un canard un canard et Hubert Lenoir un fucking pede.

une petite recherche dit qu'il y a 33 villes et 36 township qui s'appelle springfields aux states lol

J'ai pensé la même affaire et plein d'autres personnages sont des sétéréotype tres caricaturé , c'est entre autre le concept de l'émission.
faut pas oublié le Sergent mangeur de beigne , Nelson le bully a l'école etc etc.

PVI, la majorité des milliards d'indien sur la planète s'en contre-criss et trouvent drôle et sympathique APU.
 
C'est bien triste de voir tout ça. Bientôt la seule chose permise va être de regarder un mur blanc... oups.

Mauvaise décision. Au pire, Apu aurait pu vendre son dépanneur et devenir avocat de renommée mondiale et sauver la planète de la famine comme tout bon indien peut le faire.
