This story went viral not long ago. A woman ran out of gas and a homeless guy who was there gave her his last $20.
To thank the homeless guy, The woman and her boyfriend decided to start a GoFundMe account for him.
But this was all lies. The Woman never ran out of gas, the guy never gave him $20 and all 3 actually knew each other.
"The couple bought a BMW, took a New Year's trip to Las Vegas and bought high-end handbags, among other items.
More than $85,000 US in cash was withdrawn at, or near, casinos in Atlantic City, Bensalem, Pa., Philadelphia and Las Vegas.
The group spent lavishly, Coffina said, and there are "zero" dollars left."
"The fraud didn't stop with the GoFundMe page. The trio did interview after interview, posed for photos together, revisited the spot where they claimed their first encounter happened and went on Good Morning America."
