So I might have a buyer from Ontario for my car, selling in Quebec you go to the SAAQ and everything is easy, with a guy driving away the car back to Ontario, what does one need to do, tried looking up on SAAQ website but didn't find much.

I figure some people here have probably done it before and are more resourceful than SAAQ.

Money transfer, are there anything to look out for? Heard bad things even with certified checks ?

Thanks for any help

I sold a car to a guy in Alberta 10y ago.
It was pretty much the same as a local transaction at the SAAQ. He paid the tax at the SAAQ, lady told him he would be reimbursed when he show up in his province, they issued him a transit, and he drove away.

It seems like the guy might send transportation instead of driving the car away now so with him not here, can't really go to SAAQ with him to transfer
