I've come to the conclusion that Trudeau and the rest of the liberals are completely incompetent in dealing with this. They are too worried about saving face vs doing what's needed.

I think they're just waiting for someone somewhere to fuck up and justify cracking down hard. A police officer/journalist anyone that's not a protester gets injured.

It's damned if you do and damn if you don't. Crackdown when public opinion is still split you risk inflaming the whole situation, i.e: all the new blockades around Toronto since the belleville got taken down by OPP.

Wait till you have popular support and public safety is at risk to crack down, look weak and inept while you're waiting for the public to turn.
