Changing the pool liner

I have quotes from TREVI and CLUB PISCINE
Both are 6k ~100$ away from each other.

I guess price isn't really a deciding factor.

TREVI gives 2year warranty on install and 10 on liner
CLUB PISCINE gives 1 year warranty on install and 5 FULL on liner, prorated 20 years

Any experiences as to pros and cons of those two suppliers?

Par expérience le secret d'une piscine c'est l'installation.

Une mauvaise installation tu vas le voir la premiere année/hiver.

Pour la toile, une toile bien installé va faire 5 ans easy.



J'en suis a ma deuxieme toile sur ma piscine, la premiere toile était une de chez Trévi, assez chere et elle était dégueulasse, texture de marde pas lavable et le design s'effacait si tu frottait trop.

J'ai une toile du Canac, moitié prix et pas mal plus belle/douce/facile d'entretiens.

Ma toile et genre d'origine lol, pis la piscine a ete construite en 2006 de memoire.
Elle est toujours bonne sauf est rendue toute blanche pis y'a des plis d'etirement, je veux la changer avant quelle soit percee/crackee

C'est quand meme plus chère une creusé crime ! En fds un gars est venu installé ma hors terre 24' que mon voisin m'a donné. J'ai acheté une nouvelle toile chez https://www.poolsuppliescanada.ca/?sl=fr

l'an passé que je l'ai acheté pour pas etre outofstock cette année : 385$ cad tx-in. Ils vendent aussi creusé, voir si tu peux te trouver un installateur indépendant.

Ah, pis le gars que j'ai engagé, lol, il a nivelé laser sonore, tappé mon terrain plaque vibrante 100lbs, posé la piscine, toile, drain de fond et écumoire. 5h @ 30$/h + caisse de 12.

Le gars runnait en tbk, il peut s'en claqué 2 /jours. (non il ne prend pu de contrat il est bouké)

reste le nettoyage et terassement à faire, mais ca sen viens.

Definitely an above ground is easier to handle.

I remember back in the day at my mom's house, for the above ground she has I got the liner for something like 300$ as well, replaced it in maybe 3-4 hours.
It didn't need leveling though the foundation was pretty good and straight.

For inground there are all the shape features they have to respect and form identically to the pool and then for installation continue heating and shaping it to fit properly.
If I could pay less, certainly I would but I am kind of after the warranty and installation by a big company to have something to back up to if I have a problem in the future.

but damn 6K still a lot for a liner. Curious to see others experience.

I look at the prices on poolsuppliescanada, and its 50% more expensive than what Ive got last fall.

if same logic apply on inground pools, you'll might have it at 4k$ at the end of summer.

anyway inground > above ground. Hate the look of above grounds, I have one because it was free and 5yo only, including salt system and gas heater.

my bro got his quote, 32x20 S shaped pool, 3300 +tx from urgence piscine.

smaller business are cheaper, does the liner too? dont know.
