Built NOT Bought is a documentary investigating the historical & cultural phenomenon of JDM (Japan Domestic Market) car culture in Canada and how it’s overshadowing the American muscle car of the previous generation.
The film is produced by Hotrodzillaproductions and is directed by Vince Vaitiekunas. There will be a special screening on September 12th 2015 at the Cinestarz Cinema located at 6700 Chemin Côte des Neiges not far from the Orange Julep. Showtimes are at 7PM, 9PM and 10:30PM.
The film features many recognizable people form Quebec’s tuner scene including Cedric Tam from Auto Acethetics and the Chaplin family who own Fast Wheels. If you’re involved in any way in the scene, the film is sure to interest you.
